For the 4th year in a row, representatives of Nessebar Municipality, led by Deputy Mayor Tourism Lazar Yapadzhiev, met the first organized group of nearly 170 Israeli tourists in the afternoon of March 30th.
The guests landed at Burgas airport from Tel Aviv. Their descent from the aircraft of the national airline was accompanied by the sound of Bulgarian folk music performed by members of the United Municipal Art School of Nessebar. Each tourist received a beautiful tulip - a gesture of attention from the Fraport Twin Star Airport Management team.
The Israeli tourists became overwhelmed with emotion from the traditional Bulgarian customary welcome with warm bread and salt. On arrival, artists from the school performed one of the most special and attractive dances from their rich repertoire for the tourists. The visitors did not fail to take pictures with the girls in folk costumes, breaking off a piece of the delicious homemade bread upon leaving the airport and heading off to the largest resort in Bulgaria - Sunny Beach.
Among the official guests of the event were the Director of the District Interior Ministry Directorate - Burgas, Kaloyan Kaloyanov and George Chipilski, Director of Burgas Airport. Also in attendance from Nessebar Municipality were the Head of the Tourism and Tourism Promotion Department, Diana Kondova and the Head of the Nessebar - World Heritage" Department, Zlatin Chaoushev.
