Fraport Twin Star presented its policy for sustainable development to the business and local government in Burgas

At the annual event "Business Meeting in Burgas and The Region", organized by "Capital" and held at the hotel "Primorets" today, the Chief Executive Officer of Fraport Twin Star - Dr. Frank Quante, presented the sustainable development policies that the concessionaire of Varna Airport and Burgas Airport applies consistently. Massive construction of PV plants, energy efficiency measures and reduction of emissions are the focus of the environmental sustainability roadmap, which is being worked on and will continue to be invested in the future. The work towards a CO2 emission neutral is done step by step.  

"It's important for us to understand that the business is changing. Sustainability is a highly urgent topic and the business has to listen to and collaborate with the scientist. We as a business will be evaluated by the society based on the actions and measures we take on the recommendations of science. We at Fraport Twin Star are doing a lot in this regard and will continue and accelarete to do so in the future," Dr. Quante said. He emphasized the importance of sustainable development for tourism, as it is a complex area, but extremely important for the region and the whole country and only through joint efforts can its development move upwards.
