Fraport Twin Star supported the biggest regional event for tourism in Varna 

At a special forum "Business Meeting in Varna and the region", organized by "Capital" and held at the International Hotel in the Golden Sands Resort, the Chief Executive Officer of Fraport Twin Star - Dr. Frank Quante, revealed what could help to the Bulgarian tourism in these challenging times, as well as the initiatives, are taken by the Bulgarian Black Sea Alliance, chaired by him. 

According to Dr. Quante, the visa regime should be eased: "We are sitting here, in one wonderful hotel – “International”, which must be booked 365 days a year. Italy is open to tourists from the Middle East - you can get a visa there for eight days. In Greece you can get a visa directly at the airport, and in Bulgaria, which is even not in Schengen - it takes three months to get a visa which is unacceptable", he said. 

At the same time, much more needs to be done to promote Bulgaria as a tourist destination. He appealed to all who are interested in joining the next online meeting, organized by the Bulgarian Black Sea Alliance, on the afternoon of June 6, in which the Minister of Tourism Hristo Prodanov or his deputy minister will take an active part in discussing all the challenges and prospects for the season 2022.

The forum in the Golden Sands Resort has also been attended by: Ilin Dimitrov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Bulgarian Parliament, and Margita Todorova, Member of the Board of Directors of Albena.
