Anti-epidemic measures at Varna Airport and Burgas Airport

Fraport Twin Star continues to actively encourage compliance with anti-epidemic measures at Varna Airport and Burgas Airport

While we are all happy to gradually return to life before the COVID pandemic and the news about the end of the emergency epidemic situation in the country, Fraport Twin Star considers the protection of the health of the passengers and employees of Varna Airport and Burgas Airport to be its main priority.

For this reason, as a socially responsible company, Fraport Twin Star continues to strongly recommend compliance with anti-epidemic measures to prevent the risk of coronavirus recurrence at both Black Sea airports before the summer season. They include:

  • Preventing employees with acute respiratory diseases from entering their workplaces;
  • The requirement for wearing a PPE protective face mask remains highly recommended for workers who, in the performance of their duties, are indoors in very close or immediate contact with customers;
  • When serving passengers with symptoms of acute respiratory diseases, it remains highly recommended for our employees to use additional PPE.

In addition to the recommendations mentioned above to all employees, Fraport Twin Star presents and encourages the continuation of the additional ventilation and disinfection measures:

  • Regularly and sufficiently well ventilation in the premises in buildings and passenger terminals as well as in the vehicles;
  • A regime of cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces and areas in contact with exposed parts of the body of the passengers and workers;
  • Airside buses and ambulifts for passenger transport will be ventilated before and after each transport, and cleaning and disinfection will be carried out in the exposed areas.

These additional measures proposed by us are in force until 15.05.2022 and are part of the consistent policy of Fraport Twin Star to offer safe services to our passengers, but with care to all the employees in the company.
