Airport Charges

Airport charges are levied for the take-off, landing and parking of aircraft (including noise and emissions) as well as for the use of passenger facilities. They are used solely to refinance airport infrastructures and the resulting operating expenses. Burgas and Varna Airports are permanently growing, and our ground staff is well prepared for that. Our core competences when it comes to ground handling services are: security, competence, customer orientation and friendliness. Passengers with Reduced Mobility Fee

We would like to inform you that by virtue of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 July 2006 concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air and after consultations with users of both Burgas and Varna airports, with a decision taken on 25.02.2009, the Management Board of ‘Fraport Twin Star Airport Management’ AD has introduced a PRM fee for Burgas airport amounting to € 0,22/per departing passenger and for Varna airport amounting to € 0,24/ per departing passenger. The abovementioned fee will be levied by all air carriers using Burgas and Varna airports and it will be collected starting from 09.03.2009 for Burgas airport and from 01.03.2009 for Varna airport. By virtue of Art. 298 of the Trade Law this information is designed for all actual and potential Airport users willing to use Burgas and Varna airports.

All persons operating aircrafts, vehicles or machinery at Varna and Burgas Airports, as well as those entering the airport on foot or by vehicle, are subject both to these airport user regulations and to the associated instructions for their implementation issued by the operator of this airport - Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD.
