Filming Permission Guide for Media

Media Representatives Guide is designed to help visiting media representatives with their filming and photographic projects at the operational areas of Burgas airport and Varna airport, which are under the responsibility of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD.

If you wish to film or photograph any of the operational areas under the responsibility of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD, then you will require our official permission to film. Please contact the Fraport Twin Star's Press Office accordingly. Please keep in mind that:

  • If your report requires filming or photographing in any controlled-access areas of the terminals and other operational areas of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD, then you must be escorted by Fraport Twin Star  Press Center or other officially authorized airport staff.
  • You should always carry a valid ID Card and a Press Card with you at all times when filming or photographing at Fraport Twin Star’s operational areas. Without this identification you will not be able to enter controlled-access areas.
  • After notifying the Fraport Twin Star  Fraport Twin Star  Press Center (preferably in writing via e-mail) in advance, you will be able to film or photograph in the public-access areas without an escort. However, passenger operations should not be negatively affected in any way. Fraport Twin Star’s  Fraport Twin Star  Press Center cannot give approval for filming or photographing any areas under the responsibility of the airlines or government authorities (Customs, Policeor others). Filming or photographing of police/security personnel and control stations is not allowed without prior permission from the appropriate authority. Likewise, filming of specific airline check-in and sales counters cannot be done without prior notification and permission from the corresponding entity.
  • If you wish to do a LIVE television or radio broadcast at any of the operational areas under the responsibility of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD, you must first contact Fraport Twin Star’s Press Center. Under certain circumstances, live broadcasts are possible in the public areas. Full technical and production details of your broadcast need to be presented to Fraport Twin Star’s Press Center to determine what is possible. For safety reasons, the cables must be properly secured and connected. Fire and emergency exits/routes, and stairways should not be hindered by your cables. Instructions from airport security and other operations staff should be clearly obeyed.
