In connection with the media statements about Burgas Airport in the last week, "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD would like to emphasize once again its commitment as a responsible concessionaire and employer to continue to further grow the year-round traffic and connectivity of Burgas Airport.
“Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD continues to make every possible effort for the development of the traffic and infrastructure of Burgas Airport, fulfilling earnestly, timely, and entirely all its commitments and obligations to the state, in its role as a responsible concessionaire and good employer of all our employees - permanent and seasonal staff.
Due to necessary construction works, "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD will close Burgas Airport for all flights from 06:00 h. on March 7th until 23:59 h. on March 30th, 2024. The closure of the airport is mandatory to perform maintenance activities related to safety-related improvements to the runway surface and lighting system before the start of the active summer season 2024.

“Fraport Twin Star Airport Management” AD (FTSAM) proudly announces the signing of Master Food & Beverage (F&B) and Master Retail agreements with industry leaders Lagardère Travel Retail and Avolta, respectively.
Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD collaborated with 16 foreign tour operators, 10 municipalities and a number of tour operators in Bulgaria to apply for the Program for Financing of Marketing Activities activities of tourist services in the Black Sea municipalities in Bulgaria, launched by the Minister of Tourism - Mrs. Zaritsa Dinkova.

Yvonne Becker, who landed at “The Sunniest Airport on the Black Sea", together with her husband and their two children, with a SundAir flight from Germany, was solemnly welcomed by a number of officials: the Mayor of the Municipality of Burgas - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, the Chief Executive Officer of "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD - Dr. Frank Quante, and the Director of Burgas Airport – Mr. Georgi Chipilski.
On 30.07.2023, Bulgarian Black Sea Alliance - a non-profit organization that is initiated with the leading role of the concessionaire company of Varna Airport and Burgas Airport - "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD, celebrates the second anniversary of its establishment.
On July 26th, Varna Airport solemnly welcomed its passenger № 1 000 001 for the year with many gifts, cake-cutting, and a festive mood! Ms. Milena Giusto, who arrived on an Austrian Airlines flight, was personally welcomed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Varna – Mr. Ivan Portnih, as well as by the entire management of our sea airport, headed by the Airport Director – Mr. Dimitar Kostadinov, and the Chief Coordination Officer of “Fraport Twin Star Airport Management” AD – Mr. Nikolay Sekalov.
