Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Celebrates First Flights to Burgas in Bulgaria  

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays waved off its first ever flight to Burgas in Bulgaria today, as it marked the official start of flights and holidays to the brand new destination.
Customers on this morning’s flights to Burgas from Birmingham were given a special celebration of treats, refreshments, and one lucky customer even won a pair of return Jet2.com flights after finding a lucky envelope on their seat, before departing to the Balkan sunshine. Upon arrival, another treat greeted them in the form of a VIP welcome, gifts, cake, and Bulgarian souvenirs.
Today also marks the start of flights to Burgas from London Stansted and Manchester. The full flights from the three bases mark the start of the leading leisure airline and package holiday specialist operating flights and holidays to the region, which is already proving to be extremely popular with holidaymakers looking for great value for money as well as miles of golden sands along the Black Sea. With a range of 2-5 star hotels on sale, holidaymakers can soak up the Balkan sun in resorts such as Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Obzor and St Vlas.

The company will launch flights to Burgas from all of its nine UK bases this month, with first flights departing from East Midlands and Glasgow (7th May), Newcastle and Leeds Bradford (8th May), Edinburgh (11th May) and Belfast International (29th May).
In total the company will operate 15 weekly flights to Burgas from across these bases this summer, meaning it has over 100,000 seats on sale in its first summer of operations. As well as taking British holidaymakers to the sunshine, locals can fly direct to the UK’s most popular cities and regions, on the award-winning Jet2.com.
