Varna Airport & Burgas Airport renewed their airport carbon accreditation - Level 2 "Reduction"!

Fraport Twin Star is pleased to announce that Varna Airport and Burgas Airport have renewed their international airport carbon accreditation - Level 2 "Reduction" by ACI Europe!

This is another proof of the serious ESG measures Fraport Twin Star has taken in this direction, incl. with the endorsement of the "Toulouse Declaration" in our aim for decarbonization through zero emissions by 2050. In addition to that, the construction of new photovoltaic plants at Varna Airport is forthcoming, which will significantly reduce the carbon footprint by using alternative energy sources!
