On January 25, the interns at Burgas Airport have experienced an exciting aviation day!

Dragomir Georgiev, Deputy Director of Burgas Airport, presented the airport's history, development, and future projects. He acquainted the trainees with the main activities and the most important regulations in civil aviation.

The day continued with a panoramic tour of Burgas Airport. The interns got acquainted with the activities of the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA) and Fire Safety, having the opportunity to visit their respective workplaces and learn more about the professions of Flight Manager and Airport Firefighter.

The presentation continued with driving on the airport’s runway. Konstantin Temenov, Head of the Airport Operations Center, and Vasil Atanasov, Head of the Ramp Handling and Cargo Department, introduced the interns to the activities and responsibilities of ground handling.

Fraport Twin Star continues its active and engaging policy towards its interns, allowing them to get acquainted with our two airports’ exciting activities. At the end of the day, the interns have received a sweet surprise from the Human Resources Department.
