New Program for financing marketing activities

The new Program for financing marketing activities of tourist services in the Black Sea municipalities is a step in the right direction for Bulgarian tourism

"Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD and Bulgarian Black Sea Alliance (BBSA) welcome the launching of the Program for financing marketing activities of tourist services in the Black Sea Municipalities in Bulgaria, initiated and officially published by the Ministry of Tourism on the personal initiative of the Minister of Tourism – Ms. Zaritsa Dinkova.  

This program is a step in the right direction and has the potential to significantly expand Bulgaria's marketing presence in key inbound markets that have not yet recovered from the pre-pandemic period. Nevertheless, it is pretty complex needs a clear explanation and comprehensible rules for all who can benefit from it.

As the concessionaire of the two seaside airports in Varna and Burgas - portals to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast - "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD appreciates every initiative that aims to better position Bulgaria as an attractive tourist sea destination among the important markets abroad.

“It is good we have this new marketing program initiated by Mrs. Dinkova as Minister of Tourism. Considering all the existing legal restrictions, it seems the best way to improve the marketing in our source countries of tourism within the EU. As Fraport Bulgaria, will definitely try to achieve the best results together with the Municipalities and the tour operators who play a crucial role in the published structure.
