“Erlebe Bulgarien” 2025 is not just another tourism event – it is a platform for inspiring partnerships and a powerful example of unity in action for the tourism industry

The second edition of the international tourism forum “Erlebe Bulgarien / Experience Bulgaria” will take place from 11 to 15 June 2025 in the Golden Sands resort, with the main conference on 12 June 2025. This year’s event moves to the Northern Black Sea coast and is officially hosted by Grifid Hotels, building on the resounding success of its inaugural edition in 2024, which drew the attention of key players in the international travel industry to the beauty and vast potential of Bulgaria’s Southern Black Sea region.

This year’s forum is expected to gather nearly 200 leading professionals from the tourism sector in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – including tour operators, travel agencies, airline representatives, journalists, and industry organizations.

The initiative is organized by Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD – the concessionaire of Burgas and Varna airports – with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, and in partnership with the leading German travel media outlet fvw|TravelTalk, the Association of Incoming Agencies in Bulgaria, Grifid Hotels, Varna Municipality, and the Bulgarian Black Sea Alliance. The official air carrier of the forum is Electra Airways, in partnership with SunExpress.

The program will include a specialized conference, workshops, B2B meetings, and familiarization tours of the most remarkable locations along the Northern Black Sea coast. Special focus will be placed on sustainable development, the quality of tourism services in Bulgaria, and best practices in public-private cooperation – including a successful model of collaboration between airports, tour operators, hoteliers, and institutions, as exemplified by the forum itself.
